Our table
We serve home-style breakfast and lunch in the heart of downtown Bolivar. You seat yourself, and somebody will be over.
On the wall there are boards of reclaimed timber with mugs hanging off them on hooks, under a framed sign that reads Coffee Time. In the middle of the boards is a photograph of a long table full of people. The ceiling is pressed tin and there's a brick pillar holding up the middle of the room.
Four hundred and forty eight people liked the picture we posted of Bolivar's retired teachers lining the sidewalk to wave at the kids on the first morning of school. Then they came in for breakfast. That is more or less how it goes here.
